Enjoy an itinerary designed by a local expert to show you the city at its best. Eat at the most delicious restaurants without having to read endless Yelp reviews and Eater articles to figure out where you should go (and where to avoid). And plenty of time for yoga, naps, and self-care so you return home feeling refreshed, rather than needing another vacation to recover from your vacation.

I grew up in Austin, and can't wait to share this incredible city with you! From the wonderful places I grew up loving, to the trendy new hot spots that have made Austin such a desirable destination, this Guided Getaway will incorporate the best of old and new Austin. I've put together a 5-day, 4-night journey of my favorite places to play and eat, with lots of self-care in between.   • 12:30pm - 1:30pm: Lunch at Fareground Food Hall

  • 1:30pm - 6:30pm: Free Time! (Take a nap, visit the pool, play arts & crafts with Alia (also by the pool), or explore more of Austin on your own.)

  • 7pm - 10pm: Dinner + Drinks on Rainey Street

  • 10pm - 10:30pm: Bedtime Movement + Meditation

  • 4-night stay in a fully-stocked, totally pimped out 1-bedroom apartment in a gorgeous mixed-use luxury complex (retail on ground floor, apartments above)

  • SUP, kayak, or canoe past the skyline at Lady Bird Lake. Paddling not your thing? There's also a lovely hike & bike trail around the lake!

  • Take a dip in Barton Springs, Austin's most famous natural swimming hole.

  • Visit Austin's beautiful botanical and sculpture gardens. 

  • If you wish to use your free time to explore Austin further, Alia will provide you with plenty of guidance and suggestions on where to go and what to do!

    • Renting a car is highly recommended, as parking is generally easy and Austin is *not* ​a walkable city.

      • Parking where we're staying is $20 per night. Email alia if you need to add parking to your stay.

      • Email alia if you're interested in connecting with other attendees who are interested in splitting car rental costs.

    • Lyft and Uber are available in Austin

  • Paddling rental fee

    • Because everyone may not opt to paddle, and the different crafts have different prices, it makes the most sense to let everyone choose their own adventure here!

  • Booze. (I'll buy you a drink with dinner, but the rest is on you!)​

    • ​We are unable to provide you with a roommate. If you wish to choose the double occupancy option, you must already have a roommate lined up. We will NOT reserve a room for you until both roommates have purchased their respective reservations, so we recommend purchasing simultaneously.
    • Upon purchasing your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with a link where you can provide us with the name of your roommate.

within 24 hours of submitting your payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete the guest information form. this form is where you will submit emergency contact info, dietary restrictions, roommate name (if applicable), etc. ​

  • Attendance Policy
    • If we do not have at least 5 rooms booked for this retreat by August 5th, 2018, the retreat will be cancelled and any registered clients will receive a full refund.​​
  • Cancellation/Refund Policy
    • If you need to cancel for any reason BEFORE August 5th, 2018, you will receive a full refund minus a $150 admin fee.

    • If you need to cancel for any reason AFTER August 5th, 2018, no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued under any circumstances.

    • If the event is canceled by the studio for any reason, you will be refunded fully.

  • Registration Deadline: 8/5/2018 at Midnight.​

  • We'll get started at 7pm Thursday night, and wrap up by 1pm Monday afternoon. 

  • We're staying a 20 min drive from the airport (without traffic)

  • The Austin airport code is AUS

  • Things to Bring

    • A Yoga Mat! (And any props you'd like - I won't be able to provide any.)

    • A Journal + Writing Utensils

    • Bathing Suit(s)​

    • Sunglasses/Hat
